A family from Bristol Township’s Croydon section is hoping an electric scooter taken from outside their home is returned.
The scooter was taken from the 1000 block of Main Street last Friday shortly before 9:30 a.m. The scooter is valued at $5,000, police said.
Cheryl McDonald, the woman who uses the scooter, was featured on Fox 29 Friday and told the station about losing the scooter she uses to get around. Without it, McDonald struggles to stay mobile and needs an oxygen tank.

โThatโs the only way she can get around. I mean without that, she canโt go nowhere,” her daughter Crystal Kincade told the TV station.
The family hopes word of the theft leads to the scooter being returned.
Recent police logs have not shown any similar thefts in the township.
