The Falls Township Pier 1 Imports location is closing.
Signs went up recently marking that the location was among the roughly 450 brick and mortar locations closing around the country. As Business Insider reported last week, closures were hitting stores that had already been removed from the home goods chain’s website.

No closing date was released by the company.
Earlier this month, the Texas-based company announced they would close around half their stores due to shrinking sales amid a changing retail environment.
The company announced they also plan to close close distribution centers and reduce corporate expenses.

Pier 1 CEO and CFO Robert Riesbeck said the a third-party liquidator will manage the store closings.
The company’s location in Newtown Township will remain open, and the Lower Southampton store will close.
