Cops: Duo Arrested, Gun With Round In Chamber Recovered

Two people were arrested and a loaded gun with the serial number scratched off was found recently, according to police.

Tullytown Borough police said in court papers that they made a traffic stop on New Year’s Eve 2019 along Levittown Parkway for traffic violations. They made contact with the driver – Lauren E. Donoher, 24, of Bordentown, New Jersey – and she appeared “very nervous” and had bulging and glossy-looking eyes. Donoher, who had a male passenger in the car, admitted to stealing from the Walmart in the borough and to having a knife in the car.

Donoher ended up asking the officer to speak outside the vehicle. They let her, and she appeared to be under the influence of drugs. She did not comply with an officer and ended up resisting the lawman, before being taken to the ground and handcuffed following a brief struggle, police said.

An officer noted two large, open double-bladed knives in the door of the car.

The male passenger – William Thomas Hill III, 29, of Bristol Township’s Levittown section – told an officer he was on parole and there were drugs in his pocket. One of the officer’s retrieved a bag with a crystal-like substance, two plastic spoons, a bag with pills that were identified as Xanax bars, and empty bags, police said.

According to police, they retrieved a silver and black Glock handgun with a 9mm bullet in the chamber inside of a backpack that was in the car. In addition, two 30-round, 9mm handgun clips and a 16-round handgun clip with bullets inside were located. The serial number on the gun was filed off.

Donoher reportedly said the gun did not belong to her and it was planted.

Donohers’ purse contained a white crystal-like substance, police said.

Hill admitted he first came into contact with the handgun in summer. He later found out the gun was stolen, police said.

Hill, according to court papers, had a revoked carry permit, but admitted to touching the gun a number of times.

A second handgun that was taken apart and had no serial number was also found in the vehicle along with ammunition, police said.

Donoher was charged with receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm with manufacturer number altered, firearms not to be carried without a license, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI, retail theft, and related offenses. She was arraigned and let free until her next court date on 10 percent of $100,000 bail.

Hill was charged with receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm with manufacturer number altered, possession of a firearm while prohibited, firearm not to be carried without a license, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned and jailed on 10 percent of $150,000 bail.
