
A New Jersey woman has been charged after police said they found suspected heroin and vials on crack cocaine on her.
An officer was on patrol and spotted a silver Infiniti fail to stop at the exit ramp from Tyburn Road to Route 13 on Tuesday, December 3 around 8:51 p.m. The officer pulled over the vehicle and interacted with driver Maria D. Salazar, 22, of Newark, New Jersey, according to court papers.

The officer wrote in charging documents that Salazar smelled strongly of cologne and there was a smell of unburnt marijuana coming from the vehicle. The car also had eight tree-shaped air fresheners that were visible.
During a search of the Infiniti, a small glass jar with suspected marijuana was found inside the passenger-side door panel. In addition two small glass pipes and copper wire mesh were found inside of a black plastic bag in the glove box and $554 is cash were in the woman’s purse. They money was separated into various piles, police said.
Salazar was found with ten vials of crack cocaine in the rear of her pants and two additional plastic bags containing a total of 20 more vials of crack cocaine in her underwear. The 22 year old woman also was found to have 50 baggies of heroin wrapped in plastic in her underwear, police said.

In an interview at the police station, Salazar allegedly admitted to buying the crack cocaine and heroin in New Jersey with the intention of bringing it to a house part in Falls Township.
Salazar was charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was arraigned before an on-call district judge and ended up posting 10 percent of $50,000 bail.
