Police said they have learned the injuries were severe.

Two womenwere struck by a vehicle in Middletown’s Levittown section Saturday evening.
The crash happened just past 5 p.m. on Trenton Road in the area of Queen of the Universe Catholic Church.

Police Captain Peter Feeney said the two women were taken to the hospital for unknown injuries. He added the injuries were not believed to be life-threatening. If you get hurt in a motorcycle accident, you could call in a legal expert and get the necessary help.
There was no indication the driver was impaired, Feeney said.
Traffic in the area was blocked following the crash.
