
New Falls Road was closed for a good portion of Friday morning as police investigated a serious crash.
The crash happened just before 6 a.m. along New Falls Road at Indian Creek Entry in Bristol Township.

A 2006 Nissan Altima was traveling eastbound on New Falls Road and a 2014 Jeep Compass was traveling northbound on New Fall Road entering the roadway from Indian Creek Entry. The Nissan struck the Jeep in the Eastbound lane of New Falls Road, police said.
The Nissan was operated by a 42-year-old man from Bristol, and the Jeep was operated by
a 79-year-old male from Levittown.
Both men were taken by the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad to Lower Bucks Hospital and St. Mary Medical Center with critical injuries.

Bystanders said there were skid marks around the area of the crash along with debris scattered on the roadway.
The Edgely, Levittown No. 2, William Penn fire companies responded along with fire police.
