The 45 year old pleaded guilty in July toย one count of possession with intent to distribute cocaine and one count of attempted possession with intent to distribute cocaine.

Blanco was arrested on southbound I-476 by Pennsylvania State Police. Troopers recovered about one pound of cocaine in his vehicle and federal authorities intercepted a second package of about one kilogram of cocaine mailed to a house Blanco owned in Philadelphia.

โ€œThis case is an example of federal and state law enforcement working together to stop the flow of illegal narcotics onto the streets of Philadelphia,โ€ said U.S. Attorney William McSwain. โ€œAggressive enforcement of our nationโ€™s drug laws, which is a top priority for my Office, is the best way to stop illegal drugs from destroying our communities and endangering public safety.โ€
