A dozen votes separated independent incumbent Bristol Borough Councilman Tony Devine and Democratic challenger Danny Pasciullo.
According to preliminary results, Devine won the contest for the four-year term that covers the North Ward. However, the closeness in results could lead to a challenge or change once all absentee ballots are counted.

In the East Ward, Councilman Greg Pezza retained his seat.
Michael Gorman will join the Council as a newcomer from the West Ward.
Councilman Louis Quattrocchi will keep his seat representing the South Ward.
