A person was killed when a small SUV slammed into the back of a parked trailer along Runway Road in Bristol Township Friday afternoon.
Crews from the Bristol Township Fire Marshal’s Office and the Edgely and Levittown No. 2 fire companies were called to the crash outside Interline Brands at 1:31 p.m.

Police were at the scene investigating the fatal wreck as of 2:45 p.m. The coroner’s office had been called to the scene.
The heavily-damaged Nissan rammed into the back of a trailer that was parked on the shoulder of the roadway that used to be a runway as part of the old 3M Airport.
Bristol Township Fire Police directed traffic around the crash scene.
