
Four people received bad, but not life-threatening injuries in a late Thursday morning crash.
The crash happened on New Falls Road at Bristol-Oxford Valley Road on the Middletown side of the border with Bristol Township in Levittown around 11:50 a.m.

Officer Andrew Herman said the crash was a three-vehicle, chain-reaction crash. The last vehicle ended up slamming into two that were at the intersection.

The crash may have been caused by an impaired driver, but the investigation remained ongoing, Herman said.
Firefighters from Levittown Fire Company No. 2 and the Middletown Township Department of Fire and Emergency Management responded to the scene and helped free one man who was trapped. Three medic units from the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad responded to treated the injured.

Traffic was tied up at the intersection into the early afternoon hours as the scene was cleared.
