
A man has been charged after a drug investigation by Bensalem police.
Derek Thomas Mabin, 36, of Bristol Township’s Levittown section, was arrested earlier his month on charges of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver and possession of a controlled substance; criminal use of a communication facility, use/possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of a controlled substance.

According to Bensalem authorities, Mabin sold suspected methamphetamine to a confidential source in April in the 200 block of Lincoln Highway in Falls Township. An undercover officer was in the area as part of the buy.
The suspected meth purchased from Mabin was sent away for testing that confirmed it was .62 grams of the drug, police said.
Mabin was arraigned and jailed on 10 percent of $250,000 bail. On October 8, his bail was reduced to $10,000 unsecured and he was released to custody.
