This weekend will mark peak color in Bucks County!

The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Bureau of Forestry released their fall foliage report for the weekend of October 25 and Bucks County listed asย “best color.”

Peak conditions are prevalent throughout the Southeastern Region, but some of the oak-dominated, lower elevation sites are slow to turn. Species adding color in the region include maple, birch, beech, and sassafras.

Pennsylvania is one of three regions of that globeย  –ย Eastern North America, The British Isles, and parts of northwestern Europe Northeastern China and northern Japan – that supportย deciduous forests that display fall autumn color.
