Two Drivers Suffer ‘Critical Injuries’ In New Falls Road Crash

Two drivers suffered “critical injuries” in a Sunday evening crash along New Falls Road, according to police.

The wreck happened around 7:05 p.m. Sunday in the area of the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad building and Red Cedar Drive in the Levittown section of Bristol Township.

A preliminary investigation by authorities showed a 2003 Ford Mustang driving eastbound on New Falls Road collided with a 2013 Dodge Avenger that was traveling westbound on New Falls Road. The Ford hit the Dodge in the westbound lane of New Falls Road. 

The Ford was driven by a 36-year-old man from Morrisville, and the Dodge was being operated by a 39-year-old man from Levittown, police said.

The two drivers were taken by the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad to St. Mary Medical Center for treatment.

As the crash was investigated, New Falls Road was closed in the area until about 11:30 p.m.
