An officer ran a plate of a vehicle during a routine patrol and discovered that the vehicle’s registration was suspend for insurance cancellation. Upon stopping the vehicle, it was discovered that both the driver and passenger were wanted by the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office. A 27-year-old man was arrested for the warrant. Along with the warrants, he will be cited for multiple motor vehicle violations.

Drug Paraphernalia

On Friday, phone contact was made with a 68-year-old man who was informed that he had a warrant for his arrest and for him to turn himself in to the Penndel Borough police station as soon as he could. That afternoon, around 12:30 p.m., the man did turn himself in at the station. He was arrested on the outstanding warrant and was processed. Unable to pay 10 percent of $40,000, he was sent to Bucks County prison.

October 4

Drug Paraphernalia

While on patrol, an officer observed a vehicle without functioning break lights being driven down Lincoln Highway in the area of Durham Road. The officer confirmed that the break light wasn’t working again as it turned on to Durham Road going north. The vehicle was then stopped. Contact was made with the 19-year-old woman who was driving. During the traffic stop, it was found that the emissions and inspection stickers were fake. While having a conversation with the woman, she became anxious and began moving her hand around in her pockets. When asked to remove her hands from her pockets, drug paraphernalia was found in her hands. She was placed under arrest. A summons will be issued.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Neshaminy Street and Lincoln Highway for the report of an accident with an overturned vehicle and injuries. Upon arrival, the driver of the overturned vehicle, a 38-year-old man was found standing outside of his vehicle. While speaking to the man about the accident, officers could detect the odor of an alcoholic substance from his breath and person. The man admitted to having consumed alcohol earlier in the evening. Unable to perform field sobriety testing, he was arrested for suspected DUI. Charges are pending the outcome of lab testing.
