Falls Township will begin work on fixing several roads in the coming weeks.
The Board of Supervisors voted Tuesday to accept an $85,000 proposal from Jones Engineering Associates for professional inspection and construction administration services for the road improvement project that is expected to start later this month.

In September, the Supervisors awarded a contract for $1,617,389.85 to General Asphalt Paving Company Inc. so they can complete a full-depth reconstruction of Rice Drive, Fletcher Drive and Lions Drive. In addition, a portion of Elbow Lane between Stony Hill Road and the Falls Township and Lower Makefield boundary will be improved and repaved.
Last month, Supervisors Chairman Bob Harvie said the yearly road program size is depending on budget.
