Wanted Man Flees Traffic Stop

A man who was wanted fled police Wednesday afternoon.

The man, who was wanted on a failure to appear warrant related to a drug case, ran from a car when officers attempted stopped it in Tullytown Borough, police said.

Officers from Bristol Township, Falls Township, and Morrisville Borough were spotted assisting Tullytown police. A Bristol Township K-9 unit was seen searching in the area near the Levittown Train Station.

Police Chief Daniel Doyle said the man was not located as of early evening and the search was called off.

The vehicle driven by the wanted man was towed by police.
