Data from the federal government lists that Bucks Countyโs unemployment rate jumped from 3.4 percent in June to 4 percent in July, the latest month that data is available. The last time the rate was above 4 percent in the county was in February 2018.

Theย Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry said that the statewideย seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate for August remained at 3.9 percent.
The national unemployment rate for August remained steady at 3.7 percent, according to theย U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
In the Keystone State, the largest supersector increase was the addition ofย 8,100 jobs in education and health services.
