The man ejected from the vehicle was an off-duty Tullytown police officer.

Borough police released the following statement:
“Officer William Bresnahan IV was involved in an off-duty traffic accident last evening. He was transported to the hospital with injuries. The accident investigation is being conducted by the Falls Township Police Department and supervised by the Bucks County District Attorney crash team due to a police officer being involved. Please keep Officer Bresnahan and his family in your thoughts and prayers.”

A driver was ejected from their vehicle following a serious Thursday night crash.

The single-vehicle wreck happened in the area of Tyburn Road and South Pennsylvania Avenue around 11:16 p.m.
Officers arrived on the scene and discovered a 2019 Toyota Tacoma smashed into a guardrail and the driver was ejected.

Police said the driver suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton.
“The Toyota Tacoma was traveling eastbound on Tyburn Road at the time of the accident and failed to negotiate the curve on the ramp to South Pennsylvania Avenue striking the guardrail,” police said in a statement.
