A firm that specializes in logistics for military agencies plans to expand.
Kampi Components is located in an industrial park at 88 Canal Road in the Fairless Hills section of Falls Township. The company received approval from the Board of Supervisors last week to add 11,000 square feet to their existing 25,000-square-foot building. The space is needed for storage and staging.

The company needs the additional room as their logistics business has grown. The firm works with manufacturers and the military on logistics and shipping items for use by the U.S. Department of Defense. “The alternative to building onto the existing structure would be to move out of the township,” Kampi Components President and Founder Al Goodman told the Supervisors. “We prefer not to do that.”
Goodman noted that the company started in Bristol 35 years ago and moved to Falls Township in 2000.

Kampi Components agreed to several minor amendments to their plan and will update the parking lot.
