A Penndel business owner recently made a donation to help motorists who run into trouble in the borough.
Ken Moore from K M Auto Services on South Bellevue Avenue donated a battery jump-start box to the police department earlier this month. The box can be used by officers to help motorists whose vehicle battery has gone dead.

Moore told Penndel Borough Council earlier this month that his wife passed out at the business several months ago. He called 9-1-1 and before he could get off the phone, Chief of Police Sean Perry was on the scene. The donation was a way to recognize the department.
