The first storm rolled through early in the afternoon and moved quickly. It brought a soaking rain, thunder and lightning, and strong winds.

Numerous readers reported trees and limbs down in the neighborhoods off the Levittown Parkway in Bristol Township, Falls Township, and Tullytown. On Peachtree Lane, a large tree was felled and the surrounding roads were covered with leaves and branches that had fallen.
About 3,000 customers were put in the dark following the storm.

Right as power had been restored to much of the Levittown area, a second round of rain and thunder and lightning moved in.

The second batch of unsettled weather moved through causing some minor ponding on many area roads and closed others. Parts of Bristol Borough were hit with flash flooding that caused some residents to take to the streets in kayaks.
As of 6 p.m., about 1,700 PECO customers were without power in the Levittown area.

In both storms, emergency responders were busy dealing with storm-related calls.
