A rain date is Sunday, August 11.

This year, the proceeds will go to both the Masonic Youth Foundation located in Elizabethtown in Lancaster and to help preserve a historic building, Masonic Lodge #25 located on Cedar Street in Bristol Borough.

The Masonic Youth Foundation provides care for youth who are orphaned, being raised by aging grandparents, or who come from various social or economic environments which do not provide the security and support necessary for healthy growth and development.

Bristol Lodge #25 was founded in 1780, and the first Master was a British soldier living in the borough. The Lodge was built in 1815 and was re-built in 1853. The windows in the front of the lodge building are from the original Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania, which was destroyed by fire in 1819.

The organizers of the event said the they are looking for donations to support the children’s charity and preserve their historic building.
