Falls Twp. Looks To Reconstruct Three Roads

Falls Township is looking to reconstruct several roadways.

The Falls Township Board of Supervisors voted unanimously last week to authorize advertisement of township’s 2019 road improvement program for bids.

Officials said the program consists of full a reconstruction of Rice Drive, Fletcher Drive, and Lions Drive.

The township expects to award the project later this year.

The Supervisors also announced plans to fill cracks, and reseal the asphalt of the basketball courts at Falls Township Community Park. The repair work was planned for last year and was postponed due to weather.

Parks and Recreation Director Brian Andrews said the work will take about two days and is slated for the last week in August.
