The Falls Township Board of Supervisors have approved the transfer of a liquor license into the community.
The liquor license, which still requires final approval from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, will be transferred from Warrington to the under construction Outback Steakhouse at the site of the former Old Country Buffet on Commerce Boulevard in The Court at Oxford Valley off Oxford Valley Road.

Servers at the new eatery will be trained to serve alcohol and will undergo a responsive alcohol management program, according to attorney Ellen Freeman, who represented the restaurant chain.
The attorney told the Supervisors earlier this week that the food-to-alcohol ratio at existing Outback Steakhouse locations is 70 to 30 percent
Work to demolish the old buffet was completed recently and site work for the new chain eatery is underway.

Last year, the Supervisors approved plans for Outback Steakhouse to build the 240-seat, 6,620-square-foot restaurant. The building will feature a bar, concrete patio waiting area.
