A 31-year-old Bristol Township man was accused by Falls Township police of threatening to “shoot up” an apartment building and kicking in the door to a unit.

According to court papers, Calvin Lewis Steed II arrived at the Newport Village Apartments along New Falls Road in Levittown around 12:50 a.m. on June 22 yelling that he was going to “shoot up the whole building.” He then gained access to the building and kicked in the door to his ex-girlfriend’s former roommate’s apartment.

An officer wrote in court papers that he spoke to a “visibly upset” woman who stated that Steed threatened her, screamed at another woman, kicked down her apartment door, and searched the unit for his ex-girlfriend.

Steed, police said, only left the apartment once he knew officers were enroute.

Police said they were unable to locate Steed the night of the incident and arrested him a few days after.

Steed was charged with burglary, criminal trespassing, terroristic threats, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, and harassment. He was arraigned before District Judge Jan Vislosky and sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $100,000.
