The young woman who passed away following a Route 13 crash last Thursday afternoon has been identified as Madison L. Cameron.

Cameron was a resident of Bristol Township’s Levittown section and had attended Harry S. Truman High School.

According to police and family, Cameron and her teenage cousin were ejected from the car they were in after the vehicle lost control and overturned a number of times along southbound Route 13 at 2nd Avenue in Bristol Borough.

Cameron was pronounced deceased at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, and her cousin was taken to the same facility for treatment. He was expected to recover from his injuries.

As of Monday, the cause of the fatal crash remained under investigation, police said.

Jenn Siegel, Cameron’s mother, told LevittownNow.com that her daughter worked at the Pizza Hut in the Summit Square Shopping Center in Middletown. She added that her daughter loved being a member of the Lower Bucks Lady Lions softball team.

“I just want everyone to know that she was amazing girl and she was full of life. She loved everyone,” she said.

“She loved being on the motorcycle, and softball was really big for her for many years. She danced and my husband is part of a law enforcement motorcycle club and she helped support police officers and veterans.”

Cameron, who has six sisters and one brother, was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, her mother said.

“Everybody buckle up,” Siegal said. “A young girl might be alive today if she had taken the 30 seconds to buckle up.”

Near the site of the crash, two vigils for Cameron were held on Friday and Sunday. They involved friends and family of the young girl.

Mike Siegel, Cameron’s stepfather who treated her as his own, said there will be a large amount of motorcycles leading her funeral procession this weekend.

Contributions in Cameron’s legacy can be made to the Lower Bucks Lady Lions, c/o Todd Collier, 81 Birch Drive, Levittown, PA 19054. On Tuesday, the Pizza Hut store at 401 South Oxford Valley Road in Fairless Hills from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. will donate a portion of their sales to the softball team Cameron loved.
