UPDATED: Two Ejected From Vehicle In Crash

The 18-year-old Bristol Township woman who was ejected from the vehicle passed away at the hospital Thursday evening, police Chief Steve Henry said.

Police initially said the young woman was 19, but it was later confirmed she was 18.

More information is expected to be released Friday.

A man and woman were ejected from a vehicle in a crash along Route 13.

The Thursday wreck happened around 2:30 p.m. Thursday on southbound Route 13 at 2nd Avenue in Bristol Borough, police said.

The man and woman were both transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital and listed in critical condition as of early evening.

Witnesses told police that the sedan was traveling south on Route 13 when it lost control and overturned several times. It came to rest in a nearby parking lot.

Bystanders reported to LevittownNow.com that medics rushed the woman from the scene and appeared to be speaking with the injured man before taking him to the hospital.

Route 13 southbound was closed by fire police at Beaver Dam Road.

Bristol Borough police were being assisted in their investigation by Bristol Township officers.
