The bank customer – Keith Edward Simpson, 63 – told police a few days after the bank called that he would meet with them but failed to show. A few days later, he did speak with an officer and reported with debit card was used without his knowledge or permission in early May, according to court papers.
Video surveillance was pulled from two Bristol Township Walgreen stores in early May. The total of the purchases was about $400, police said.
On Thursday, June 13, Simpson met with an officer and was confronted with the fact he was seen using the debit card at the stores, police said.

“Simpson apologized,” police wrote. “He stated that he was the victim of two women threatening his and his mother’s safety.”
Simpson reportedly told police that he bought the gift cards and sent pictures of the cards to women.
Police said Simpson was unable to provide information about the women or the number he allegedly sent the photos to recently.
