The Dollar General store in Bristol Borough was hit by a robber Friday night.
The store in the 600 block of Route 13 was knocked over by a man who approached the counter to purchase a beverage. During the sale, he drew a black pistol from his waistband and demanded cash, police said.

After receiving money, the suspect made off on foot. He was last seen heading toward the rear of the store, police said.
A K-9 unit was brought in from Bensalem and tracked the robber, but it appeared he may have fled the area in a vehicle, police said.
The suspect was described by police as a 5-foot-8 and 190 pound Hispanic male who was in his mid-30s and sported a dark mustache. He wore a gray hoodie, black and yellow baseball hat, and ripped blue jeans.

Bristol Township police also assisted borough officers.
