UPDATE: Officer Assigned To FBI Task Force Interrupted Langhorne Robbery, Authorities Say
A man was shot Thursday night by a member of law enforcement at the 7-Eleven in Langhorne Borough.

The man, whose condition was unknown as of 11 p.m., was rushed to St. Mary Medical Center under police escort, sources said.
Details remained sketchy, but sources confirmed a member of law enforcement shot the man, who may have been a suspect in a crime, around 9:30 p.m. A neighbor said a responding officer told them they were called to the Pine Street convenience store for a robbery.
No officers were hurt.

FBI special agents, Pennsylvania State Police troopers, Bucks County Detectives, and officers from Bensalem, Middletown, and Langhorne Borough were at the crime scene as of late Thursday night. Members of the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad appeared to transport at least one person to the hospital.
Police said recently that the 7-Eleven had been robbed twice in recent months. It was immediately unclear if the robberies were linked to one another or Thursday’s shooting.

A member of the family that owns the 7-Eleven said no staff was hurt. The family comforted one another outside as investigators milled about.
A crime scene was cordoned off around the store in the sleepy borough. Passing motorist slowed by to gawk at the gathering of emergency vehicles along Pine Street.
