Crews appeared to be hard at work at the future location of Phantom Fireworks earlier this week. As of Wednesday, a sign had gone up outside of the building.
Ohio-based Phantom Fireworks has been in business for more than 40 years and was started by a grocery merchandise salesman who began selling sparklers. The company operates more than 75 stores across the country and also runs 1,500 temporary sales locations.
The Bottom Dollar Foods store closed in 2014 after the company was sold to Aldi, which decided not to open in Penndel after assuming the lease for the store.
