Truck Crash Blamed For Route 13 Tuesday Traffic Trouble

A two-vehicle crash blocked a portion of Route 13 on Tuesday.

The afternoon crash happened when a large truck hauling a load of lumber slammed into the back of a van on Route 13 south between Fallsington Road and Levittown Parkway in Tullytown.

There were no serious injuries in the crash.

Police said the lumber truck ended up going off the road, and it took two large wrecker trucks from Rob’s Towing to remove it.

Due to the removal of the truck, Route 13 south was blocked for a period of time.

The driver of the lumber truck told police the brakes on his vehicle did not work.
