There was little fanfare. No ribbon cutting, and no official announcement.
The work that closed the roadway since September 12 last year involved replacing a failing pipe that carried the Delaware Canal under the roadway.
The new pipe was placed and paving was finished late this week.

The closure occurred after a Bristol Township Public Works Department crew noticed the road was crumbling. From there, the road was closed and visible progress to fix the roadway stalled until the new year.
Bristol Township and the Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority have worked with the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), which owns the pipe that carries the water from Delaware Canal State Park, to get the repair work completed, officials have said.
