A man has been charged with delivering the doses of heroin and fentanyl that killed a Bensalem and Falls Township man.

Ryan Thomas Bittner Walsh, 24, of Bensalem, faces two counts of drug delivery resulting in death and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. He is set to be arraigned in the coming days.

In court papers, investigators from the Bensalem and Falls Township police departments allege that Walsh sold the heroin and fentanyl that caused the Feburary 24, 2017 death of Ricardo Fernandez, 24, and the April 25, 2017 death of Morgan Bazik, 20. Fernandez was found dead inside a home on Hewson Drive in Falls Township’s Morrisville section and Bazik inside a bedroom at a home on Finley Avenue in Bensalem.

The two men’s deaths were linked to Walsh after autopsies determined their deaths were due to drugs, authorities said.

Fernandez was found next to an unlabled bag of drugs and Bazik was found with baggies labeled “Scarface,” detectives said.

As part of the investigation, police spoke with several witnesses, including one that had overdosed and survived.

One witness told Falls Township detectives that they knew Walsh sold “stronger” heroin.

Walsh has previously served time in prison and on probation for a 2015 Morrisville drug case and a 2015 disorderly conduct case.
