Thanks for your readership over the past six years. Last Wednesday, LevittownNow.com celebrated six years since we punched the button and went live. We’re proud of our coverage and commitment to the Levittown area.

I think most will agree that our vibrant area deserves credible news coverage that is accurate and accessible for all. Our local news platform is available 24/7 and has been updated every single day since we launched on March 13, 2013, publishing more than 14,500 local articles, and 150,000 images.

As we’ve learned first hand and heard from the community, our platform has helped business gain new customers, connected loved ones, raise at least $100,000 for charities, and informed locals on a wide range of important issues.

Our small local team works hard every single day to keep our readers informed.

Although we have a sturdy base of advertisers who believe in local news and reaching area residents, the future of LevittownNow.com is far from certain, and we need your support to sustain our reporting from the community.

In the past few weeks, more than 2,000 journalists from national and local publications – including in Levittown – have lost their jobs. Supporting local news is more important than ever.

The on-the-ground, factual reporting we do is expensive and time-consuming. It’s hard work and not easy to pull off.

Our team has broken important stories long before anyone else. Over the past few weeks, we’ve published a scoop on a 111-home development planned for a former orchard, shared the story of a 102-year-old market in Bristol, and published more than 130 photos of the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Levittown. In addition, our reporting has been cited by The Washington Post, Fox News, and Newser along with all four network TV affiliates in the Philadelphia market in the past two weeks.

When we break important stories, we do our best to follow up on them and keep track of issues. It also leads to us answering thousands of emails, phone calls, and social media messages.
