Three men have been charged in relation to an alleged robbery that happened in the final days of 2018.
Earlier this month, Bristol Township police filed court papers that alleged three men were involved in a robbery that happened at the Hidden Forrest Apartments on Wistar Road in Fairless Hills. Police said the incident was reported the day after it allegedly happened on December 29.

A man explained to them that he was dropped off with his friends to the 800 building in the apartment complex. He thought they were going to another friend’s apartment to hang out, police said.
While in the building, the person whose apartment they were heading to was not yet ready so the man and his friends sat with three other men and were talking, police said.
After about 15 minutes of talking, Austin Yates, 20, of Warminster, and Josh Marquez, 20, of Langhorne, began to attack the man without reason. While Marquez was hitting him, Yates held the man’s hands behind his back and they wrestled him to the ground, police said.

After being hit and kicked in the face, the two forced him to empty his pockets and stole his LG V20 cell phone, police said.
Shane R. Pursell, 19, of Levittown, was charged in relation to the incident, but police noted he did not touch the man. However, he did flee with the two other defendants charged, investigators said.

All three were charged with robbery, conspiracy, theft, receiving stolen property, and simple assault. Yates and Marquez were also hit with additional charges of harassment and disorderly conduct.
Marquez was sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $75,000 bail and Pursell on 10 percent of $50,000 bail. Yates has yet to be arraigned.
