Falls Township police have a simple message – “stop for stop signs!”
Officers from the township spent two hours Saturday morning watching the stop sign on the Route 13 south ramp that leads from Route 1 north.

Seven citations for failing to stop were issued and one person was caught with an out-of-state suspended license and another nabbed for traffic warrants out of Delaware County.
“This is a high accident area and failing to stop at the stop sign is the leading cause of traffic crashes there,” police said.
The fine for failing to stop is $142.50 and three points, police said.
