A Pennsbury High School senior has earned the highest possible ACT test score.
William Bednarz of Lower Makefield received word recently that he scored 36, the highest composite score that one can get.

ACT CEO Marten Roorda said in a statement that the achievement “is significant and rare. Only around two-tenths of 1 percent of all test takers earn the top score.”
ACT testing covers English, mathematics, reading, and science. Each section is scored on a scale of 1 to 36 and then pulled together to determine the average.
Bednarz was awarded the Rensselaer Medal and scholarship from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York last school year.
