Fire At Concrete Company Damages Building

Arriving firefighters found thick black smoking pouring from a manufacturing building at Atlantic Concrete in Tullytown early Tuesday morning.

Firefighters were called to the company along Old Route 13 around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday and went to work to fight the blaze.

Officials said there was some trouble getting water at the scene and fire trucks relayed water to the site.

Crews were able to quickly knock down flames.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Firefighters from American Hose, Hook, and Ladder, Edgely, Falls Township, Fairless Hills, Levittown No.1, and Levittown No. 2 fire companies assisted Tullytown crews.
