Davis is beginning her fifth term serving the 141st Legislative District and is fresh off an unsuccessful but close bid for state senate.

“I am deeply honored to serve the people of the 141st District,” Davis said in a statement. “I thank them for their confidence in my ability to best serve their interests in Harrisburg. In the coming term, I will be working with my colleagues and across the aisle to achieve the House Democrats’ #Plan4PA. The plan is focused on building a Pennsylvania that works for working families through good jobs, affordable health care, quality schools and a fair economy, all of which will make Bucks County an even better place to live and work.”

Farry is entering his sixth term and represents the 142nd Legislative District.

“I look forward to continuing to represent the residents of the 142nd District. I am hopeful that we can have a productive session including continuing to increase education funding and opportunities, improving our infrastructure, creating jobs and addressing the concerns raised in the SR6 report.”

Galloway is serving his seventh term representing the 140th Legislative District.

“As I begin another term, I’m focused on making sure we’re addressing the needs of hard-working people and families in Pennsylvania,” said Galloway. “We need to reduce the skyrocketing cost of health care, so that no one has to sacrifice their health to make ends meet. And we need to continue to increase Pennsylvania’s investment in education, so that all children have the same opportunity to learn.”

“At the same time, we must find ways to reduce the property tax burden challenging so many residents. We need a strong economy in Pennsylvania that works for everyone, not just special interests. I’ll continue to make this my priority as we return to Harrisburg for a new legislative session.”

The new legislative session marks Pennsylvania’s 203rd.

In the Senate, newly-elected Democratic State Sen. Steve Santarsiero, a Democrat from Lower Makefield, and longtime State Sen. Tommy Tomlinson, a Republican from Bensalem, were sworn in. Santarsiero represents the 10th Senate District and Tomlinson the 6th Senate District.

“I’m ready to hit the ground running on day one,” Santarsiero said. “I welcome the chance to work with colleagues on both sides of the aisle to solve issues that affect us all.”
