A call for a fight in a parking lot led to the arrest of a Philadelphia man in Falls Township.

Officers were dispatched last Thursday around noon to the Castle Club Apartments on West Trenton Avenue for a report of several males fighting in the parking lot.

An arriving officer found the fight stemmed from a domestic assault that allegedly took place in an apartment, which started when Frederick D. Hall, 52, of Philadelphia, showed up at his ex-girlfriend’s residence, police said.

Hall, according to his ex-girlfriend, entered the apartment and struck her in the face with a close fist. She believed she lost consciousness and then awoke to find her son fighting with Hall, police said.

In court papers, Hall’s ex-girlfriend said he had not lived in the apartment for several months and is not listed on the lease. He ended up crashing her apartment using a key he did not have permission to have.

Police said the woman’s family tired to hold down Hall and struggled with him. He ended up fleeing the apartment office and officers apprehended him.

Hall was arraigned before an on-call district judge on charges on burglary, criminal trespass, simple assault, disorderly conduct, harassment, and defiant trespass. He was sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility after he was unable to post 10 percent of $50,000 bail.
