Bristol Township police arrested a man inside his former place of employment last Sunday morning, authorities said.
Officers were dispatched to a commercial building in the 1900 block of Hartel Street for a report of someone inside the building with a flashlight. Upon arrival, an officer spotted the side door was ajar and found Donald E. Thompson, 47, of Mt. Holly, New Jersey, inside holding a flashlight and wearing a black mask and gloves, according to court papers.

Within reach of Thompson, a Ruger handgun with Crimson Trace sights was found inside holster with an additional magazine, police said.
An officer ran a search of the weapon and discovered it was reported stolen on December 3 to the Pennsylvania State Police’s Honesdale barracks, police said.
Thompson, according to court records, had an active protection from abuse order out of Bucks County and was not allowed to be in possession of a firearm.

Police said they searched Thompson and two large plastic bags containing possible methamphetamine were found in his jacket.
The owner of the property, who noticed the burglary via a surveillance system, arrived at the business and confirmed Thompson was not allowed to be inside. He also said Thompson has been recently terminated from his job, police said.
