Bristol Township police and FBI special agents arrested a bank robbery suspect at the Avalon Court Apartments on Tuesday.
Linda Howard-Lewis, 52, was arrested when detectives and federal law enforcement went to serve a search warrant on her Bristol-Oxford Valley Road apartment in connection with the November 2 armed robbery of a BB&T Bank in Hamilton, New Jersey.

Hamilton police said in a statement that Howard-Lewis walked into the bank, pulled a handgun, and demanded cash from a teller. She ended up making off with cash and fled the bank in a shuttle bus.
At the time of the robbery, the shuttle bus had its branding spray painted over to obscure its affiliation and it did not appear to have a license plate, police said.
It was not immediately clear if Howard-Lewis was behind the wheel of the bus that was used as an escape vehicle.

Hamilton authorities worked with the FBI’s Trenton resident agency and Bristol Township police to track down Howard-Lewis. Tips from the public also were received, police said.
Howard-Lewis is charged in New Jersey with robbery, terroristic threats, and weapons offenses. As of Wednesday, she is being held in the Bucks County Correctional Facility awaiting extradition to the Garden State.
