After receiving five bids, the Middletown Township Board of Supervisors announced last month that they are continuing their Handicap Ramp Program with a new string of ADA-accessible ramps in the township.

This year’s ramp improvements will take place in the Sturbridge and Heaton’s Mill neighborhoods to the tune of $178,190.10.

According to township officials, the lowest bidder for the project, L.C. Costa Contractors, Inc. will conduct the survey, design, and construction of as many ramps as possible within the budget.

Middletown’s Handicap Ramp Program is designed to follow their yearly Road Program by addressing different areas of the township each year.
