Fall yard waste collections will be coming to an end in local towns over the next few weeks.
Bristol Borough:

The borough’s town-wide yard waste collection will come to an end with the final collection on Thursday, December 6. Residents are instructed to use only compostable paper bags or open top containers. Each container or bundle cannot exceed the weight limit of 50 lbs. Residents can place yard waste out the night before. Yard waste is defined as tree trimmings up to 2 inch in diameter and 4 feet in length, shrubbery, and hedge trimmings, prunings, and garden waste. Tree roots or branches longer than 4 feet in length and 2 inches in diameter will not be accepted.
Bristol Township:
The yard waste program for township residents will hold its final collection Friday, December 14. The township asks that residents place yard waste in a rigid container or biodegradable paper bags. In addition, branches must be cut down to less than four-feet-long and bundled with string or twice. Pickup will resume in April 2019. For more information, residents can call 267-812-2950.

Falls Township:
The township’s final yard waste collection will be Saturday, December 15. The yard waste is collected by Waste Management as part of their agreement with the township. Leaves must be bagged in 30-gallon trash containers without lids. They are to be placed curbside by 6:00 a.m. on collection days, in the same location as your regular trash pick-up. Leaves in any other containers will not be collected. After December 15, residents are instructed to place leaves in with their regular trash.

Hulmeville Borough:
The borough’s end of the season yard waste collection will be Wednesday, December 5.
Middletown Township:

The final yard waste collection of the year will be Wednesday, November 28. From December through March, residents may place up to five bags, bundles and/or containers of yard waste out on trash collection day.
