The Pennsbury High School Marching Band and local “American Idol” contestant Catie Turner will be part of this year’s 99th annual Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The Pennsbury High School band has taken part in the parade for more than 30 years and will march the chilly 1.4 mile route Thursday morning.

Turner, according to 6abc, will be making an appearance during the festivities along with other American Idol stars.
The parade will be broadcast live on 6abc and stations around the nation starting at 8:30 a.m.
The large parade will feature 15 balloons, 16 floats, 30 performances, and 23 marching bands from around the country.
