A traffic stop led to charges against two men in Bristol Borough earlier this month.
Police Sgt. Joe Moors and Officer Ian Stanley pulled over a vehicle at Railroad Avenue and Wilson avenues on the morning of Thursday, November 1.

The two lawmen with assistance from Officer Dean Johnson discovered the driver and passenger of the vehicle they pulled over were in possession of narcotics and a firearm, police said.
Anthony Curt Jackson, 24, of Bristol Township, was charged with possession of a firearm while prohibited and firearms not to be carried without a license. He also had active warrants out of Bucks County and was on probation for a 2016 terroristic threats case out of Bristol Township, according to court records. He was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility and is awaiting arraignment for his latest charges.
Edward Gilbert Jr., 24, of Bristol Township, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and careless driving, court records state. Gilbert is set to be arraigned before a district judge this week.
