
A Benslem man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly grabbing a knife during an argument.
Enrico Cortez Ivy, 40, was arraigned before Senior District Judge Leonard Brown on charges of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness.

Police said in court papers that they were called to the Wawa at Route 13 and Green Lane around 5:45 a.m. for the report of a man with a knife threatening a person who was now hiding in the bathroom.
Officers arrived and spoke with Ivy’s wife who said her husband grabbed her by the throat while intoxicated and threatened to kill her. He then grabbed a knife from the trunk of her Mazda sedan and came at her while the knife in his hand at his side. However, the woman said Ivy came at her in an aggressive manner while yelling, police said.
Ivy smelled of alcohol and ignored an officer who came to talk to him while using earphones, police said.

Video of the incident allegedly backed up the woman’s claim.
Ivy scuffled with police and was taken to Lower Bucks Hospital and medically cleared before he was arraigned, police said.

Ivy was transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility following arraignment on 10 percent of $200,000 bail.
