Portions Of I-95, PA Turnpike To Closed For Overnight Work

A portion of I-95 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Lower Bucks County will be closed Friday night and into Saturday morning.

Northbound and southbound I-95 will close between the Bristol exit in Bristol Township and the Penndel/Levittown exit in Middletown late Friday night and reopen Saturday morning.

During the same time, the Pennsylvania Turnpike will close in both directions from the Route 1 interchange in Bensalem and the Delaware Valley (Route 13) exit in Bristol Township.

Traffic from the highway and Turnpike will be routed on local roads, which will be marked with signage.

In advance, signs giving drivers a heads up were posted on Veterans Highway (Route 413) in Bristol Township.

The work is part of the ongoing $1 billion project to connect I-95 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
