The Neshaminy School District plans to have Herbert Hoover Elementary School open for classes Monday.

The Middletown elementary school was closed Friday morning after high levels of carbon monoxide built up inside the facility overnight. School district spokesperson Chris Stanley said the buildup of carbon monoxide was related to “equipment and environmental factors.”

“The equipment concern has been identified and addressed, but the school needed to be ventilated before it could be used again,” Stanley said.

The district does not expect any further issues at the school this weekend.
